The Unplanned Journey of Dry Bones Live Ministries
As the holistic life mentor known as Meru Mentor, I have always aimed to guide others toward a debt-free lifestyle. However, the founding of Dry Bones Live Ministries was a path I never planned to take—a path shaped by over a decade of divine intervention and spiritual searching.
The Slow Discovery of Faith
My journey to discover Christ was not immediate; it was a cautious exploration since 2012. Initially, I was apprehensive about religion, wary of becoming entangled in what could be a cult. This apprehension led me to explore spirituality at my own pace, learning and maturing within my comfort zone.
Interestingly, God reached out to me before I even began my active search. One summer, while camping, Jesus appeared in a dream. At the time, I dismissed it as just an odd dream, not grasping its profound significance until much later. This encounter marked the beginning of a slow and sometimes lonely journey toward spiritual growth.
Overcoming Life’s Challenges
Life’s challenges, including my mother’s death and several poor decisions, left me feeling like “dry bones”—spiritually empty yet physically alive. It was during these low points, when I cried out in despair, that God vividly made His presence felt in my life. His response was not just a revival of my spirit but a calling to something greater.
The Mission of Dry Bones Live Ministries
Now, I am committed to nurturing Dry Bones Live Ministries, a community created out of the trials and revelations of my spiritual journey. This ministry is dedicated to offering hope and inspiration to others. By sharing the lessons I’ve learned and continue to absorb, I aim to empower others to recover from their own “dry bones” moments, revitalizing their lives through faith and understanding.
Embracing the Unexpected
In life, we often make plans, charting out our paths based on our current understandings and desires. However, “Man proposes, but God disposes.” My journey is a testament to the mysterious and transformative ways of God, who reroutes our paths and leads us to fulfill purposes we might never have envisioned for ourselves.
